Shotgun 2

This exciting NEW offering will help you take your defensive shotgun skillset to the next level. You will build on the skills of shotgun manipulation, and “push/pull” recoil control that you learned in SHOTGUN 1, and of course return for more exciting experiences and complex scenarios in TDI’s shoot houses. Shotgun 2 will also dive deeper into movement and use of cover on our Upper Range, where we are able to simulate many outdoor environments commonly found in your daily environment. This two-day shotgun event is a rare find in the shotgun training world. 

This course is developed around standard defensive semi-automatic and pump action shotguns. (Ie 1301, A300, 870, 590, 500, 930, 940 etc) A two-point adjustable sling is needed for this class, we recommend Blue Force Gear Vickers padded, Magpul and VTAC have quality offerings as well. You’ll want a “dump pouch” to carry shells. Wilderness Tactical and Maxpedition make very useful offerings. We highly recommend a shortened stock if able for the defensive application of the shotgun. The Magpul SGA Stock is the most common way to achieve this, but wood stocks can be shortened and youth stocks are even a solid option. Lastly, a side saddle shell carrier will be of great benefit in this course. Vang Comp shell cards, Aridus Industries QD Shell carrier, and various other brands can be easily fitted to most shotguns.
