Being proficient with your AR15 is great, but a truly prepared student of the gun knows that your primary long gun may not always be available, especially if traveling in a foreign country. If you travel internationally for work or pleasure, you never know what defensive rifles may be available if the worst happens and you have to fight for your survival. Maybe you and your “inner circle” of prepared civilians simply want to expand your knowledge of different rifle systems. Foreign Weapons Systems will give you a functional knowledge of several of the most common fighting rifles found throughout the world. Topics will cover each rifle’s operating system, a brief history, disassembly and reassembly for basic maintenance, and a variety of range drills to get you functionally proficient. If a battlefield pickup is all you have available, you better know how to use it.

Required Equipment:

  • Round Count minimum (100rds per weapon system)
    • .308 – 200rds (brass case ammo only)
    • 5.56×45 (.223) – 300rds (brass case ammo only)
    • 7.62×39 – 100rds (brass or steel case ammo)
    • 9x19mm – 100rds (brass case ammo only)
  • All ammunition is student supplied and must be factory ammunition (NO RELOADS) 
    • ZSR, LAX, MAXX, and Freedom Munitions will not be permitted in the class due to known quality control issues to include squibs, over charged loads, etc.
    • Midwest Ammunition is the ONLY factory remanufactured ammunition permitted in this class
  • All ammunition WILL be inspected prior to first rounds down range!
  • You’re welcome to bring additional ammo. Time permitting in the class, we’ll get you some extra time on the rifles.
