“I wanted to take this time to thank you and your staff for putting on such a top notch class. I feel much more confident about the possibility of saving someone’s life if the occasion ever arises (I hope it never does).” P. West – September 2019
This 3 day class is both a shooting and medical class. This class will provide students with or reinforce basic GSW (gunshot wound) treatment skills for shooting encounters. Students will learn to provide care for themselves, partners and small groups. Pistol will be the primary weapons system for this class, but students may also bring any weapon system that they have had prior training on (see prerequisites). We will cover shooting skills with an emphasis on malfunction clearance and reloading with a single hand. We will focus on immediate follow-up wound care and transportation prep for yourself and others. Students should bring or wear clothing they don’t mind being soaked in fake blood.
